X2 - Which font is this?

Hey,
My project currently is trying to modify text in a photo by using the text function.

One basic thing is that I need to find and set the right font as it appears on the photo. See the following sample:

See the year 1970. As you can see it is American writing; the 1 is just a vertical line and the 7 does not have the horizontal portion in the digit. The 0 looks fat and not thin.

Q: Any clue which font fits best here?

I do not, but there websites that will analyze an image and help you try to define a font. Don't know if they will help. A clearer image might help. Most of the sites I've tried seem to struggle with identifying where the letters are.

WhatFontIs.com - http://www.whatfontis.com/

And then there is Identifont - http://www.identifont.com/

That one will ask you questions about the font and help you narrow it down.

If you have access to newsgroups you could try:
alt.binaries.fonts

they are a very helpful group.
