I'm exploring RAW processing in PSP X3 and noticed in this tutorial - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do251skEeL0 there are a few more options than I have in my software as I follow along. I am missing Exposure and Sharpness and Color Noise under Reduce Noise.
It looks like I have the latest update of X3. My version is 13.2.1.32.
Anyone know why?

Re: X3 Raw Processing
I still have X3 installed so I checked my RAW Lab and I don't have the Exposure or Sharpness settings either, and I have all the updates. I looked at the link of the video you posted and while they are using X3 that can't be X3 RAW Lab.
If you don't want to upgrade to X6 (catch it on sale by signing up for sale e-mails on Corel) just process your image with the available controls in X3 RAW Lab, click Edit which will then convert it into a 16 bit image and use the Brightness and Contrast controls and Sharpen controls in the Full Editor. You can then save it as a 16 bit tiff or psd image for future editing, or as an 8 bit jpeg if you like.

Re: X3 Raw Processing
I'm a pretty recent convert to RAW processing and at first I did try using PSP X6. It seems to me I once read that it does all internal processing in 32-bit floating point so it should preserve incoming precision quite well. However, some operations seem to truncate to 8-bit integer. In particular, a histogram adjustment seems to have this problem; I hope Corel will check this out and fix the problem or at least comment on it; there doesn't seem to be a better way to report such apparent problems than commenting on this board.
I've switched to using RawTherapee as a front-end to PSP X6, relying on PSP mainly for sharpening and for any operation that requires masks. It works for me, but I will take a serious look at the article that Glen Barrington wrote.
