"Upgrading" from MediaStudio Pro 7

Post by CCR71 »

Will switch to HD video editing software, I am an old Ulead MediaStudio Pro 7 user and wounder if somebody knows wich of VideoStudio Ultimate X7 and Pinnacle Studio 17.5 Ultimate I will fell "at home" with (similar to MSP 7)?
Is there any quality differences between the softwares or are they more or less the same (since Corel owns Pinnacle aswell)?
Have tried Premiere Elements but it doesn't cut it...

Hi
welcome to the forums

I only have Video Studio installed as a video editor so cannot compare types.

You are best to install the trial version of VS X7, give it a run.
With X7 finally Corel have addressed many of the HD issues, it does seem to work well.

The workstation will be quite different to the older Ulead products, I assume Media Studio Pro to be similar to Ulead VS 8 type?
Once you get used to the layout I am sure you will enjoy using the software
