Bez and Mix3 for ASP2-64

Post by ferdinand-paris »

I provided my 64 bit plugins to Corel prior to the release of ASP2, as did some others, and I don't know why they haven't been released on the ASP plugins database. In the meantime you can download them from my website.

Thanks.
Do you have a 64-bit version of asPlugInManager?
Does it handle a mix of 32-bit and 64-bit plugins?
(I don't know how they are differentiated in the User Plugins folder)

No I don't. I haven't seen anything much on asPlugInManager for ASP2. The 32 bit and 64 bit are separate installs (I assume you can install both) and I think you would want separate user folders, in part so that you could keep the plugins separated. At least that's my understanding.

Many thanks for the updated plugins, both working fine with Linux as far as I can tell.
Any particular reason for Bez to have gained a Straighten Slider?

Let's hope you have cracked open the flood gates. :D

I'm not sure how that straighten slider got in there. Well I do, I was trying to put a control in Bez to replicate the main straighten control to minimise tab-switching, but I never got it to work - as is clear when you try to use it. That slider should be commented out. I thought it had been. I guess I'll have to update that file.

The plugin developers have found the switch to 64 bit compiling difficult. I haven't even got my own Win-64 compile environment working - I had to rely on others for both Mac and Win and only did the Linux compile myself. I think that's the major hold-up, plus people have gotten busy and have lives.

I have uploaded a corrected version of Bez which leaves out the non-operational straighten slider. This is easy to fix if you have an earlier version of Bez - simply replace the .ui file with the earlier one. The one from the last version for ASP1 should be fine. Or you can download and install the corrected version.
