ASP and Topaz

Post by MikeFromMesa »

I upgraded from ASP to ASP 2 on my Mac when ASP 2 came out. Since I use the Topaz plugins I planned to use Topaz's photoFXlab as an external editor and load the Topaz plugins through that software, however I found, much to my surprise, that ASP 2 will not allow me to select photoFXlab as an external editor. I can select pretty much every other photo editor I have (Photoshop CC, DPP, photoNinja, Acorn, etc) but, when I try to select photoFXlab, ASP 2 just will not fill the external editor text box with the proper name. It just leaves it blank. Or, if another editor had been selected, it just leaves that other editor's name.

The purpose of this posting is to ask if anyone else has seen this problem. I suspect it is a Mac only issue so I am asking anyone who has a Mac if they are experiencing this problem.

Thanks.

I have not been able to use photofxlab either. You can create a batch output to the individual plugins or to Topaz Fusion Express or make Fusion Express the external editor but that won't give you the full functionality of photoFxlab.
