Media Clips used in project

Post by Lowell C »

I am new to Video Studio. I am currently using X6. I cannot find any indication to show what media clips are already used in a project. Other applications show the library media clip in a different color frame, some show a small check mark on the thumbnail in the library, etc. Does Video Studio have a way to indicate that a clip has been used already in the project? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi
Welcome to the forums

There are no indications that clips have been used from the library in any project.

The program would have to provide a separate library for each project to be able to apply this option, and yes we have asked during beta testing.
It does not seem to be a function that Corel would use?

You can just amend the name of the thumbnail in the library (does not affect the name of the base media object at all)

just click on the thumbnail - then click again to put the title into edit mode - just put an X or something at the start of the thumbnail name.
