I'm currently evaluating AfterShot Pro and installed the 64bit version before I noticed that many of the plugins are only available for 32bit.
I run 64bit Linux KDE but assume I can run the 32bit version. Any significant penalties?
I assume I can't install a 32bit version now to try it out? The 64bit installation has around another 6 days available to run before I have to purchase.

Re: AfterShotPro 32 or 64bit?
The trial runs independent of 32 or 64bit.
You can install them in parallel, but they will use the same user home directory.
On a 64bit box you will need to install some 32bit compatibility libs (if you are on Ubuntu, the easiest way is to do the install via a file manager which will use the software center which ten will handle the dependencies).

Re: AfterShotPro 32 or 64bit? Solved
I should have 32 bit libs installed. I just tried downloading the 32 bit version but install ended with an unusual error message - Aborted by user.
Just tried it again and it installed.
Pass.
Thanks for the reply.
