Picture Frames

Post by raven4ns »

Hello,
Could someone please give me a link to free picture frames for X6? I downloaded the few that Corel provided but was hoping there might be some sites that provided more. Thank you.

Tim

One good way is to make your own. However, have you tried Googling for free Picture Frames for PaintShop Pro, there's a lot available?

Yes I looked on Google but couldn't find much. How do I load them into PSP X6 if I find some for PS? Thank you.

did a search on Paintshop Pro Picture frames tutorials. Plenty of tutorials , but plenty of annoying voices and people that just want to hear their own voices.

Not sure what you are expecting Tim as going through that that I have posted will probably take a lot of time.
You can use pre-created tutorials and or learn to make your own.

Hi Hartpaul,
Thank you for all of the information. The kind of frames I am looking for are not very fancy just suitable for photographs. Would you mind taking a look at some of the frames I have used on my Flickr site, please? The more elaborate frames are the types I am looking for and yet they are fairly basic in design. This is the address: https://www.flickr.com/photos/44673530@N04/ . Most of the frames I came across were not what I was looking for. Thank you again for your help.

The frames you are using there are more modified borders rather than ornamental Frames. Many of those you could prepare for yourself. They consist of creating borders , then using 3d effects , often an inner bevel, . Sometimes selecting the border and filling with patterns and gradients. The inside can then be deleted and saved as a Frame.
I can remember doing some of these as tutorials in the BW-forums.com .

Here's a basic tutorial on how to make your own. How you decorate them is up to you.

http://wwell.net/tutorials/pspx6/pictureframes/

As for importing frames. Open the frame in PSP then go to File, Export Frame.
