Enter Alt+0174 (on the numerical pad) to get ®.

It doesn't work with all fonts, but the standard ones are ok.
Here is a good place to get Alt codes:

In recent versions of PSP support for those characters was touted as an improvement to the text tool.

You have to type (r) for ® and (c) for © and (tm) for ™. It'll go ahead and convert them for you.

Although the alt codes are nice for other characters.

I feel not too many people know that PSP convert to create these characters.
Thanks for telling us Levifiction.

Hehe, you would be right!
I had no idea.
I use Alt codes all the time, mainly for French accents and ½ + ¼, those sort of things. ® and ™ aren't something I use a lot.

As they say "you live and learn" :-)

Excellent info on adding various characters.....never knew how to do this when making my photo books after a trip, so I would copy and paste the word or symbol to get the correct accent or money sign etc. Now I know how to do it myself! Saved the links for future reference. You can learn quite a bit hanging out on these forums! Levi you are a font (pun intended) of knowledge :D
Adverts for Corel products when you close PSP don't bother me.

I don't know if the attached is any use to use, but it's what I have hanging next to my computer.
They're the codes I use all the time :-)

Joëlle

Hmm, I thought I could delete the attachment, but it still shows.
Ken is right, the ™ sign should be Alt+0153.

I have them (and more) in a plastic folder in the bookcase behind my computer... But the ones I use the most, I already remember. Handy to have a few more hints, though!!! Any shortcuts to produce Cyrillic???!!!

I notice on your sheet above that you have 0176 down for both ° and ™. On my keyboard, it is Alt+0153 which gives ™... I wonder if that is a difference between US and other keyboard layouts???

°™,
Ooo, well spotted. Atl+0153 is the correct one, thanks for reporting back, I shall change that.

On my previous version it is correct, but not the new one. Grrr.

Thanks Ken.
:-)
Joëlle

Any idea how I delete the original attachment?
I tried posting the corrected one, but ended up with two, which seemed like a really bad idea, so haven't :-(

Here is the correct version.

Hurray, that worked.. Thanks Ken :-)
