PSP v6 Ultimate & PSP v4 tut question

Post by wombat100 »

Hi Guys,

I am using PSP v6 Ult and when I had PSP v4 there was a tut from PSP about merging people into another picture, the main shot is the bride and groom sitting on the grass, the other shots are the groom and his shots finshed up within the main bride & groom shot, I have some faint memory that I had to paint the groom to be moved green or red and somehow put him into the main shot of the bride and groom. all 3 shots of the groom finished in the main shot of the bride & groom.

Does anybody know where I can find this tut or how to do it please.

If you're just looking to combine multiple shots of a person into a single image you probably used Photo Blend. It's an option found under the File menu. Photo Blend lets you take multiple images, align them, then color in green the parts you want to keep and red the parts that you want to get rid of.

Here is a tutorial by Corel on using Photo Blend. http://corel.force.com/learn/articles/e ... r_Tutorial

There is also the possibility that you used the Object Extractor option to cut the groom out of one image. Then copied and pasted him onto a new layer on the image you wanted to use.

The object extactor has you outline an area you want to keep, the fill it in with red and it separates that area from the rest of the image.

Hi LeviFiction, it was the Blend Option I used in the past, thank you for your help.
