upgrade x6 to x7

Hello, excuse my English, I go through a translator.
I bought the update of videostudio x7, because I have the x6 release.
Installing the software asks me to enter the version number, but it is not found on the DVD.
How to install this new version?

I assume by "version number" you mean serial number (numéro de série). That is never on the DVD itself. It is usually on the envelope in which the DVD comes. It will normally start with VS17R22 and is followed three more groups of mixed letters and numbers.

Where did you buy the DVD?

DVSPRX7MLEU01, but it does not work.
I have nothing else.

If there was no number on the envelope, there is nothing we can do. The number you give is merely a product number. You will have to go back to the shop where you bought the product and enquire there.

Please understand that you are not talking to Corel in this forum. None of us here is a Corel employee. We are just users like you who volunteer their time to help other users.

For an upgrade version, the installation process would require the serial number for your X6 (to verify the upgrade is legitimate) and also the X7 serial number.

Did you look for the serial number that is on the envelope that the DVD came in? It is not on the DVD.

No, the album cover is made of paper, and there is nothing on it.
Apart from the bar code.
And yet, it is an official dvd Corel

Do you have X6 installed, if yes installing X7 should only ask for X7 serial number.
If NO then it will request X6 serial number followed by X7.

You may be best to contact Corel, they run a facebook account which is staffed by Corel, maybe they will advise……….
