Hello,
I'm facing two major issues with ASP 2.0.2.10 on XP 32 bits - yes, I know, I ought to maigrate to 7, but I have to achieve some tasks before.
First of all, I can't print anything anymore. The queue and layout files are there, as well as the entries within the tab, but whatever I try I can't get it to print.
I did exactly the same thing with the previous ASP1 version, it works perfectly. So, I'm in the case where I even can't generate pdf prints with 2.0.2.10.
Second, ASP happens to crash very often when browsing among the previews, though they are built and not in the process of being built.
I mean, ASP isn't doing anything when I use the preview slider. 6 crashes in 2 days.
This, to be added to the long time it often takes to launch, it is becoming hard to use.
Anyone to suggest something (else than upgrading to 7, which I intend to do in a next future, or to Linux, which 64 bits install I have problems with plugins with) ?
Regards,
J.-L.

I must admit I never seriously printed with AS (apart from PDF contact sheets). It is just too painful.
If you are on Windows, do yourself a favor and get Qimage.

Hello,
I almost never had problems with 1.1 nor 1.2 under windows.
Now, I would have to use a thrid-party sw to achive what ought to be natively done.
That was the case with linux, where I had to buy Turboprint in order to be able to print from ASP - the only software that behaves this way !
Add to this the new 2.0 being highly unstable and crashes for no reason on XP, well... it's becoming more and more boring.
I hope Corel people will read this forum and take into account all the feedback! And release a stable version very quickly!
------- Edit --------
So, I spent some time on the problem, then decided to blast it all and restart from scratch.
Uninstalled the program, wiped everything related to it within the registry, restarted the computer and reinstalled.
I can print again. I don't know what can have happened, but as it's working fine again (too soon to state about crashes though) I'm happy.
