PSPX4 won't run after install

Post by imadigger »

My old notebook crashed and I had to re-install my programs. I've installed PSPX6 and X5. I also installed X4 after these two were installed. When I try to run X4, nothing happens. I've used the clean tool to because I thought the first install was corrupt. But it still won't run after new install. What gives?

If you have X6 and X5, why would you want to install X4? After installing X4 and X5 did you install the Patches & SP's? Look at the post above about Service Packs for 4, 5 and 6 PSP.

Just for the heck of it, hold down the shift key while clicking on the shortcut to start PSP X4. If there's anything to run you'll be asked if you want to revert to factory settings or something like that. Say yes and see what happens, if anything.
