"Heal" mode shows correct preview (on-screen image) but does not work for file output in ASP2 - file contains areas as it wasn't "healed" (in my case - sensor dust). I checked that on many photoes from sony a850 (circle region).
In "clone" mode tool works fine.
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 x64
ASP2 version 2.0.2.10 x64
OpenCL (hardware acceleration) is OFF.
No third-party plugins

new data - "heal" works fine on sony a700 images. Seems like the issue is with a850 (full-frame) files only. Reason could be file size (24 MP) ?
