I was really disappointed after upgrading to AfterShot Pro v2 to see that the user interface has been redesigned at the cost of performance. The whole application feels more sluggish than the previous version, and browsing images back and forward isn't as snappy as it used to be. As I think speed was one of the main strengths of AfterShot Pro v1, this is a bad thing.
Does anyone else have this experience, or is it something particular on my machine..? I'm running the 64-bit version on Linux Mint 16 Petra.
AfterShot v2 - slower than v1

I'm running ASP 2 on a new 64 bit computer and find it to be much faster than ASP 1 was on my previous machine. The 32 bit version also seems faster.

So your argument for ASP2 vs ASP1 is: ASP2 is blazing faster on a new 64bit machine than APS1 runs on a much slower older machine?dsigman wrote:I'm running ASP 2 on a new 64 bit computer and find it to be much faster than ASP 1 was on my previous machine. The 32 bit version also seems faster.
Quick get marketing in on this, it may be Corel's new slogan

Re: AfterShot v2 - slower than v1
On a Mac running Mavericks (OSX 10.9.4) I see little or no difference in speed between the v1 and v2, but I do find ASP v2 to be more stable especially the 64bit version.
Still learning after all these years!
