K-3 Support very bad in latest Update (26 June 2014)
Hi,
I have installed the lastest Update of ASP2 which have support for Pentax K-3. But on all Plattforms
Max OSX 64bit / Windows 7 64 Bit and Linux 64 Bit (Fedora 20)
i will see the K3 images very shortly and then I get the message (Kein Bild vorhanden / No picture available)
Please fix this , look like you have never tested the software before release .
Cheers
Reinhard

Same issue here. Long time user--way back to the early Bibble days--but I can't edit my Pentax k-3 files with v 2.0.2.10 x64.
Files from my k-7 work as expected. Please advise.

Hi ,
If I start ASP on the commanline I see the following Messages:
Same if I try to convert the PEF into a JPEG:
I have no Problem to process the images with the Pentax/Ricoh Labratory Browser - The data is not corrupt.
It would be nice to have shortly a solution to that problem.
Cheers
Reinhard

As old Bibble user, I obviously nuked the cache.

Ugh. I just started using Aftershot Pro 2 and I am now seeing the same "no image available" with my Pentax K-3 PEF files.
PSPX6 has no problem with these files. This makes me apprehensive about trying PSPX7.

Do the Corel tech folks also read these forum posts? I reported this Pentax PEF Raw file problem to the support people and they acted like they never heard of this issue. They told me to download the latest version and clear my temp files. I sent them a link to a sample PEF file to play with. If you have not reported this problem to the support people you might want to do so.
Fortunately the software works with DNG files.

Vary rarely, as the title of the forum say its 'User to User'Joe Dusel wrote:Do the Corel tech folks also read these forum posts? <snip>
Users are probably your only real chance of getting help with this product, Corel can hardly be described as dynamic in their approach to customers.

Thanks for the reply HobGoblin. I will report any bugs I encounter directly to them (and hope they get fixed).
Aftershot Pro is new to me, so at least it is nice to have a forum where I can ask questions about using it.

They will "work" on it and then, after your support subscription ends, they will simply close it and you will have no chance to get in touch with them. That's what happened to me tooJoe Dusel wrote:Do the Corel tech folks also read these forum posts?
