Help install Video Studio X5 Please!
I installed VideoStudio X5 on my desktop when it first came out. Since then, my computer had to be wiped because of a virus. I'm trying to reinstall it, and instead of the start up, a screen to download the special effects that came with it pops up( such as New Blue, Boris Graffiti, proDAD Mercalli SE ex cetera) I've checked everywhere to see if somehow it was still installed, but was unable to find it. Any suggestions on how to install it?

Did you have the Ultimate version ? - because it sounds like your running the wrong installation programme, if you downloaded check your file names you should be installing from the one with PF in it's name
If you are installing from a Disc then open up the disc and check set up file names.

What file are you trying to install, I assume it is the download version and not the disc version.
The download version is approx 1.3 Gb called something like VSX5_Pro_PF.exe or VS5X_Ultimate_PF.exe.
If you purchased the Ultimate version then you will have an additional file called VSX5_Ultimate_Bonus.exe at 385Mb
Install the program file first, if the program is already installed the process will prompt you to uninstall.
Installing the Bonus will install the extra plugins (New Blue, Boris Graffiti, proDAD Mercalli) etc.
If you have the disc versions there will be two, one for the program and one for the Bonus content.
By default the program will be installed to :-
C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate or Pro X5

Ok, well now I feel really stupid. I had been using the Bonus disc.... I guess I forgot it came with two discs 
OK so that's embarrassing, but I guess my next question would be: Am I able to install the program if I have purchased it but don't have the disc? I have all of the codes that came on/with the box if that helps
Is there someway I can reinstall it without the disc? I'm registered and also still have all of the codes that came on/with the box.

As far as I know the serial number supplied with the disc only works for disc installations.
You cannot use that serial number on a downloaded installation file.
I think you really need to find that disc.
You could approach Corel they have a Facebook account staffed as far as I know by Corel employees, they may advise.
Whether they will provide another installation file/disc, well you can only ask?
