Hey everyone
Just downloaded the new Aftershot 2 to give it a go and managed to get a couple of raw (NEF) photos adjusted. After reading through the manual and converting to JPEG and exporting as JPEG Original size, I thought I would take a look at the jpeg photo in PSPx6. To my dismay, the exposure was not adjusted according to what I did in Aftershot. The photos where actually underexposed slightly in PSPx6.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this and maybe the cause? I had some blown highlights in the RAW file which I fixed and adjusted exposure the way I wanted it to look in Aftershot.
Thanks in advance.

I hope someone will come along and help you. I don't use AS and only use PSP for photographs.

Re: Underexposed photo in PsPx6 after adjusting in Aftershot
If the JPG looks the same in Windows Explorer as in PSP then it's an ASP export/batch/save as problem, not a PSP one.
Try that first.
good luck.

Re: Underexposed photo in PsPx6 after adjusting in Aftershot
I went ahead and used the monitor calibration in PSP and that did the trick. Photos matched (or very closely) each other. Don't quite understand why that is but as long as it works. Next step is to print a copy from each program to see if there is a difference. Hopefully will we will see minimal differences....I will also try Forriner's suggestion.....
