Hello,
Here is an example of what I was trying to accomplish with PSP X6. The toned image still needs more work as I haven't found the same tone I was using but it will give you an idea of what it was like. Saturday I had a bad fall so am in pain and feel like crap and didn't have the patience to work on it any further.
A friend allowed me to use CS2 so I had access to the presets to prepare this example. Because I have PSP X6 I would rather find a simple solution using it since I don't always have access to PS. I do want to thank everyone who has tried to help me with this project, I appreciate it very much.

Re: Duotone Selenium Image
Duplicate the original image layer and apply a Curves adjustment layer to that duplicate. Set the blend mode of the duplicated layer to "Multiply", and change that layer's opacity. You can get a subtle effect like this:
The Curves adjustment:

Thank you Ken, for your suggestion. I need to understand and work with layers more but that would be almost what I had in PS CS2. It would take a little more fiddling around but once I got the look I wanted then it could be saved as a script. Thank you again.

You're right that saving the steps as a script will instantly give you the effect for subsequent images. That's about all one can do, given that other programs do not have Photoshop's duotone functionality....
