Content CD Version 9?

I just upgraded to version 9. As part of the upgrade I downloaded from the internet. There was no content CD data available with this upgrade. Is the content CD the same as the content from version 8? If so then I'm in good shape, if not it seems like it should be available as part of the upgrade. Thanks!

No, there are differences. UVS 9 supports 16:9 menu templates. Use the "Smart Download" feature on the Tools menu to download the extra content.

Hi,

My post seems to be relevant on this thread. I purchased VS9 yesterday and have been trying to download the following items in SmartDownload since then:
UVS9 Content Pack Part 1
UVS9 Content Pack Part 2
UVS9 Content Pack Part 3
UVS9 Content Pack Part 4
Smartsound
Ulead Cool 3D SE
Bonus DVD Menu Pack
Ulead DVD Disk Recorder

Each time it appears to download almost to the very end. At about 200KB before completion I receive the following message:

"Connection Failed, Server may be busy or check your network and internet connection settings"

Not sure where to go from here. How does one go about downloading these files?

PS: nice job so far with the upgrade. Glad to see the roate feature was added in this version.

Hi all,

I found the FTP link for downloading the VS9 content (FTP://VS9:content@cs.ulead.com) And managed to download the smaller items...however when I attempt to download the larger one's I get to 99% and the FTP just craps out. I've tried this on both IE and CuteFTP. Not sure what to do next...is there a setting I'm missing. I have NO firewall running...just an antivirus (AVG). Any ideas?

It's been a few weeks since my attempt to contact ULEAD support directly and no response. I've tried periodically to download the content information via FTP and the problem continues.

Can you sense my frustration.

Anyone out there have any suggestions?

You could try downloading through a different browser. I had no problem using Mozilla Firefox earlier today.
