Auto Music in VSX7

I have just installed X7 and can´t find any Auto Music function?

According to the user guide there should be a selection in the tool-bar but I can´t find any.
Any idea where to find it?

I have been using X4 up to now without problems.

There is another post where the user cannot see the Track Manager icon, just maybe a similar problem?

Can you check that your system is using the latest Graphics Driver, to be honest it’s the only thing I can think of at the moment?

I have now re-installed VS X7 several times and also Smartsound with no result. Still missing the SmartSound Icon.

I have a Contact with Corel support and the advice was to go into the Roaming folder found in %appdata% and in the Corel folder delete the 17.0 folder. However I cannot find any 17.0 folder there.

I am waiting for further advice...

The full address of the '17'0' folder to delete is :-

C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\17.0


note that Brian is my username so substitute yours - note also that you go via a Ulead folder to get there.

The AppData folder is hidden by the operating system

Lars Erik you need to change the options to Show Hidden Files and Folders.

Open any folder then select

Tools menu
Folder Options
View Tab
Tick---Show Hidden Files and Folders.

If you do not see the menu bar (tools) go to Organise – Layout – tick menu bar

Now my Auto Music is working in VS X7.

I got good assistance from Corel support. They sent me a link to a Installer program and that fixed my problem.

You can try running the quicktracks installer again by double clicking the “setup.exe” file from here.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7 Setup Files\Setup\RunTime\Quicktracks5Installer

Go to Support from the forums top menu, the facebook link is at the bottom of the page.

By the way did you try running the Quicktracks5Installer file????

One of us (either me or ct valley views) is confused

ct valley views - - the only link Trevor has posted is to facebook - you say it doesn't work because you do not have the ultimate version - it doesn't matter which version you have you can access the facebook page - even if you don't have VideoStudio you can access the facebook page - so are you saying the facebook link doesn't work .

the other line which Trevor posted which does mention Ultimate is NOT a link - it is a path to a file on your computer - you cannot click on it like a link you have to manually go to that location on your computer - if you do not have the Ultimate version then just use the same path but without the ultimate word in it

So on your computer navigate to :- C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X7 Setup Files\Setup\RunTime\Quicktracks5Installer

and then 'RUN' that installer

I think I must have been confused with the reference to links.
It does seem strange that we are having posts complaining about Smart Sound installations?
I thought it may have been a W8.1 issue but others are using W7?
