I would love to use Aftershot pro2 but Corel will not let me!
Because you do not support Nikon d3300 then I can not use what appears to be a really nice program.
Thanks for the program but I guess I am off to find another program.
You could have had a loyal customer.
Even though I check back now and then to see if there has been much in the way of improvement in ASP, I find myself continually let down. More than a year ago I was forced to move on to a different software solution because Corel promised to support Fuji X cameras, then failed to do so, then promised again only to not deliver. The pattern of behavior repeated itself over and over again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for more than 12 months and the result was just empty promises and zero support. It appears this strategy has transferred to ASP 2 since their product development projection once again promises to support Fuji X sensors at some point in the future but as of right now does not do so. In my case the purchase of ASP was money thrown down the drain. As the old saying goes, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
I've been using Linux both at home and at work for at least 15 years and I want to keep using it at home BUT i own 2 Fuji X-serie ( with X-Trans sensor) and I'm stuck with Lightroom ... and Windows
PLEASE!!!!!!
Support X-Trans ...
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you say a camera isn't supported by ASP, does that mean RAW files from that camera won't open in ASP, or just that ASP don't provide profiles and presets for that camera but pictures show up fine otherwise?

It wont open the files. Creating a custom profile to manage them is 'easier' if you can open the files already.
The annoying thing is that Fuji use the same sensor (layout) in almost all the cameras (except X100 (already supported in ASP) and XA1) so one piece of work to support the X-Trans sensor supports RAW files from all the Fuji X-Trans cameras.
I'll buy aftershot 2 if I see a reasonable commitment from Corel to support camera raw formats. So far, despite the new version, there are lots of new cameras and lenses out there that are still not supported.
I have a Nikon P330. It is not supported. I also have a couple of Sigma lenses that I use on a Nikon d5200. It should be easy for me to use lens correction. I can do all this in lightroom out of the box, so that is what I'm using. I hate having to pay on a subscription basis, but your product just does not support my equipment.
