Thanx to everyone who took the time to post comments. AFX pretty much summed it up, and if you've read through the threads, you know what I mainly use a RAW editor for, a viewer to pick out the best shots to publish. I seldom need to edit RAW files. My in camera settings don't apply much sharpening, because of my style (I like a softer look). My camera allows for many custom functions, which I have assigned to buttons within thumb reach, so mostly, I leave a shoot with useable product.

I respectfully disagree. ASP may have more features, but I find the native canon software yealds a better image.bananahead wrote: The Canon software is very good but not as good as ASP (maybe this will change with version 4 in a week or so).
