Nope, didn't work! Still got the same error message with VS11! Made sure everything was removed for the old VS11 and VS x4 (including reg and files) and it happened it!
I 'v run VS11 on Windows 7 before with no issues. So I don't know what is causing this to happen.

Re-installing the operating system is probably the last resort, but at least you have things working…..
