batch render projects?

Post by delaluz »

I'm editing in VS 5 PRO a multi camera talent show that has 18 acts. I broke this into 18 projects, one for each act. I did this because with multiple cameras and a separate audio file it is very easy to get your files out of time sync.

Now I am rendering each of these projects to 18 different audio files (same res as the source). Each render takes around 15 minutes. It would be great if VS had a batch render tool so I could "submit" one job to render all 18 projects.

I don't think there is any way in VS to do this, correct?

Hi

Yes you can batch convert either VSP project files or most types of Video files

File – Batch Convert opens a new panel.

Add your files
Choose a “Save as Type” AVCHD = Transport Stream then press Options

You have to manually set the render properties there is no Same as first Clip option.
Try to use the same properties as your originals.
Choose a Save in Folder
Press Convert---coffee time
