PDF Fusion, Instruction manual edit.

Post by AMDHeaven »

The PDF fusion manual has incomplete instructions for saving and printing a document after Free Text has been added to and Flattened as a part of a document. The instructions state that the icon on the far right of the Free Text box be clicked (Flatten Text) and then the document Saved. However, this will save the document WITHOUT making the Free Text comment a part of the Printable Document. The Document must be Renamed after the Free Text is added and Flattened into the Document in order for the Free Text to reappear as a part of the Printable Document the next time it is opened. As it is, what happens is the Free Text Comment box reappears upon opening the original document with the Free Text in the Comment box. Print Previewing the document will reveal its lack of the Free Text on the Printable Document. If the Free Text has been flattened and saved as a part of the document, the blue outlines will disappear around the text, and the text will appear as a part of the Print Previewable Document. There doesn't appear to be a way to save Printable Free Text as a part of an original Document, without renaming it, after adding and Flattening Free Text to it.
