I have installed both versions of PSP X6 -- 32-bit and 64-bit. I would like to uninstall one of them. I realize it's not necessary, but I guess it's because of my slight OCD and I would like to recover a little bit of hard drive space.
Does anyone know how to uninstall just one of these? I could do a complete uninstall, but then the reinstall...well, it would "use up" one activation. I'm not satisfied with that option.
Is there a way? Thanks!
How to uninstall ONE variant (32/64-bit) of PSP X6?

Well as you are probably aware, there is no separate reference to the 64 and 32 bit versions in Control Panel > Program and Features, so you can't uninstall there. And the individual program folders in Program Files and Program Files (x86) don't contain any Uninstall.exe files as far as I am aware. So the only thing I could think of that would be worth trying would be to use a third party uninstaller, such as Revo Uninstaller. But I have never tried anything like that before, and have no idea if it would only target one of the two instances, or if it would first "look" at the original installation files and see it was a dual installation, and then uninstall both.

Revo Uninstaller scans your system for files that are attached to the program that you're uninstalling, runs the default uninstaller, then rescans the system again and offers you a chance to delete leftover registry keys and the like. So Revo would uninstall both programs when it did the default uninstaller.
I think you're stuck with either uninstall then reinstall or living with what you have. I'll let your OCD decide which you'd rather do.

Why worry about the amount of space on your hard drive for programs when you can always transfer much of your data to external hard drive(s) - (because I am paranoid about losing data I have 3 back up external copies as well as some of the current data files on my main drive. (1 Tb C drive, 1 Tb internal data drive- 9 external hard drives ranging from 750 Gb to 2 Tb). Each couple of years I transfer from the oldest to a more recent external hard drive.
In my case removing the 32 bit version would be a saving of 193 Mb or 203 Mb on actual disk . In my case removal of the 32 bit version of X6 woulld be a massive saving of 0.02xx% less that 3/100 of one percent of the drive.
Or equal to -
about 30 Jpg files,
or 15 Raw files
or about 5 Tif files
which when you look at it like that is insignificant.
Which is why I have multiple version of PSP on my systems PSP8 X2,X3,X4,X5,X6 (32) and X6 (64) and will probably put X7 on when it comes out .
