Re: ASP2 no longer starts after crash
Support was more astonished about my test scenario - applying some basic settings to the first image in one folder and then copy&paste these to the rest of the 1000 images in the folder. "This is not the way the product is intended to work" - Support said. Instead, doing this image by image would be the preferred way - thinks Corel.

Looks like they have no training at all.
Of course, this is one person, so I am not sure if this translates to the support staff in general, but it is scary.

Re: ASP2 no longer starts after crash
Checked the AfterShotProlog with no findings, the files listed are theones which have been scanned - I assume.
To narrow it down, I created three folders with approx 1000 files each. One CR2 only, one ORF only and one JPG only.
Starting ASP2, selecting the JPG folder - everythings runs fine. Folder is scanned and previews get generated quickly.
Cache folder deleted.

Cache folder deleted.
Starting ASP2, selecting the ORF folder - scan runs fine. After generating 162 from 922 previews, ASP2 crashed unmotivated.
Last test repeated.
Cache folder deleted.
Starting ASP2, selecting the ORF folder - everythings runs fine. Folder is scanned and previews get generated quickly.
It seems to be really strange as the behaviour is not replicable.
Thanks so far
