How large is you Catalogs folder?
Because I'm trying to decide where to put my Aftershot Pro Catalog folder (which holds the catalogs, metadata and thumbs), how large has yours become and with how many images approximately? (in Gb or Tb).

Re: How large is you Catalogs folder?
My current catalogue ans associated files (ASP1) for 17K Images is currently standing at 3.2GB. The whole lot ( catalogue, image files etc) are stored on a 1TB portable hard drive so I can run the same setup on my laptop or desktop machines. Runs very smoothly and fast via USB2 connections.
I've tried the same setup with ASP2 but have had so many problems with crashes that I've left it alone until the bugs are fixed.

Re: How large is you Catalogs folder?
Thanks, and a nice setup you have. Although I have a lot more images than 17K at the moment, I don't need to be afraid when I'm going to use the Catalog folder on a disk of 1Tb and the images on another disk.
You also made me think about disks and catalogs. I think I'm going to start with adding a main catelog with the name of the disk which contains subcatalogs with images. If that's full, I can add another disk an create a second main catalog

In contrast to many other apps, AS can have multiple catalogs open at the same time....
