Thank you for your help in advance.
When I upload a photo into Paint Pro x2, the files origanal size was 1.5mb, then once i have completed my adjustments and use Files save as, or just save, the files seems to save in a smaller size e.g. 638kb?
Im i doing something wrong?
File size minimizes?

When you do File > Save As , below right there is a button labeled Options. This lets you choose the amount of compression. Try 3 to keep roughly the same size, 10 for internet / email. Make some copies of some images in another folder (windows drag or copy amd paste) . Then loading and practise saving the files in that folder to see the effects of compression.
