I upgraded to VS Pro x6 Last year and after a total crash of my computer, I have bought a new super machine. The problem is, I have attempted a re-install download from Coral, but even though I still have the installation serial code, it wont recognize it? I have tried several times and have visited Corals site to view my purchase history - But it is not there????? How can that be?
I really need the programme as it is what I know and what I've used for many years (talking previous versions). I also have Sony Vegas 11 but do not like it and it really slows me down big time. I do not see why I should pay again for VS. Any suggestions PLEASE!
Re-Install

Re: Re-Install
Hi
Your purchase history will only show recent transactions.
Go to your Registered Products in the Your Products section, there you should see Video Studio X6 serial number, assuming you did register the program?
Was the X6 purchase in full or a upgrade from an earlier version, if it was an upgrade you will have to provide proof of ownership of the earlier version, this will be requested when trying to install the program.

Re: Re-Install
Thankyou for such a rapid response.
1) I cannot remember if I registered the programme, probably, but as I was a regular user, a slight chance I didn't.
2) The x6 was an upgrade from VS11
3) It did ask for proof of ownership which I have the product/serial number which I inserted but still no joy.
So fed up with the hassle I just may just buy again, not worth the stress. Was all OK till Coral bought the rights

Hi
Well if you logged on to the Corel site for your account to view your Purchase History then the Registered Products link is on the same page.
Did you manage to access your Corel account?

My understanding of the Corel Upgrade policy, is that you can only upgrade from 2 earlier versions, to upgrade to VSX6 you would need to have a licence for VSX4 or VSX5, so it should not have been possible to upgrade from VSX1 to VSX6, but on the other hand, anything is possible with Corel.
