Several errors when launching video pro x7

Post by Robotics »

Like the other versions I have had, I am now getting these same errors on version 7.

One is "Load From Stream Error" and the other which I cant remember off hand, but is the one with "BB" in it and something about memory. (a well known error here)

This is a fresh install on a system that surpasses what is recommended.

I have done what I had to do with version 5 and 6...meaning run appdata, go to roam, then ulead and rename the folder they say to do to " _OLD."
This time I don't see where it created a new folder. And I am still getting the same errors. :(

Any suggestions out there would be great!
This is really getting on my nerves since I have seen this error for years with 3 different versions, yet the "fix" is no longer working.

Thanks

Can you please describe what you are doing when you get these errors, what video you are trying to edit, its Properties, and any effects you might be trying to apply.

Hi Ken. I am simply trying to open the software. I just installed it, and am trying to open the software. Never made a video with it since I cant open the program/software.

If you can't even open VS X7 then how can you be getting that error message?

One is "Load From Stream Error" and the other which I cant remember off hand, but is the one with "BB" in it and something about memory. (a well known error here)

How are we supposed to know what you are talking about if you can't remember? What well known error here?

The error is "No Storage to load BB error" the fix is all over this forum, but it doesnt work for version 7.

Cant answer your other question. I click the shortcut to open the software and get the "Load From Stream Error"

I didn't name these errors, Corel did. So it has nothing to do with the program opened or closed. They used the poor grammar for the errors.

Here is a link from back in 2009. This error has been with Corel since the beginning of VS.

Try resetting the program by re-naming the 17.0 folder to “17.0copy” a new 17.0 folder will be generated when starting X7. The 17.0 folder is here:
C:\Users\...useraccount...\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro

This worked for me... Al
