I've been away for a few days and when I opened ASP2 today I checked for updates in Help - I was told my old version is up-to-date. It appears that the only way someone would know there is a new version is from this forum.
Unfortunately I was able to make it crash many times in the first few minutes. This happens if I try to move from thumbnail view to standard while the previews are being generated. Had to open other versions of ASP in order to select a different directory because I could not open the newly upgraded 32 version in the directory in which it crashed. Haven't yet checked if it will crash after previews have finished. Very much more unstable than ASP1.
Amazingly the RPM files are still broken

ASP (all versions I have used) has allways crashed while generating previews IF I try doing something else while it's working. My workaround is to leave it alone until all previews are generated, but most of the time I'm tempted to look at some of my pictures before it's completed, so I have to terminate ASP and resume. ASP is allways in that mood while generating previews and I never learn. Actually I'm not quite sure if that bug part is in ASP or in my head. At least, temptations can be very tricky to bypass it seems...
