Hello,
I would like to move some group of layers. These groups are under other layer. After linking 2 groups of layer, select the move tool ("m" key), if I click on the workspace, only the clicked layer (linked or not) is moving, not the linked groups selected.
How can I move the two linked groups using the moving tool ?
See a video example here : http://youtu.be/6n17zbTpfuQ
Thank you.

Hold down the shift key as you drag.
What you're seeing is the move tool selects the layer that corresponds with the area of the canvas that you're moving. What you need to do is restrict the movement to the currently selected layer.
You do this by holding down the shift key as you click and drag.

Re: Moving linked group of layer
Matthew, i was interested in this as i thought that MAYBE there was a possibility to move all the selected layers at once, even without being linked. However, i cannot get that result.
I did just like Mystral, i had 2 groups of 2 layers, but i didn`t link any. I highlighted one group, held the Alt key to select the other group. From there, with the Move tool active...
- if i dont hold any key, one layer will be activated (the group layers will be deactivated), and both layers in the group will move together (even if they are not linked and if only one is active)
- if i hold the Shift key, only two layers will move: the last group that was selected, even if the other layer groups are active.
I am using X6. Is that what you get or am i getting something different?

Re: Moving linked group of layer
Yes, I see the same thing. I see the same thing with just two normal layers also. Seems the Move tool will only work on a single layer and requires the use of Link Layers to move mutliple layers at a time.
If you don't want to use layer links then use the pick tool.
