SureThing DVD face image for installer disc

Post by DLipman »

I downloaded the 2GB installers for VideoStudio Ultimate X7.

I want to burn a printable DVD and I am looking to see if there is a SureThing, *.STD, file image for VideoStudio Ultimate X7.

Or...

Maybe a JPEG of a DVD image that I can overlay.

TIA,

I normally take a still from my video so that the label relates to the content - I am not sure exactly what image your looking for - but a quick search online for "DVD clip art" or similar will turn up thousands - or if you want a VideoStudio specific just copy one of the images on the Corel Website - surely there are also images of DVDs in the stock images you can download from Sure Thing -- then make your own Sure thing image

In this case it is not content for a DVD Movie I am authoring that will be on the face of the DVD media/disc.

It is for the installer of the actual Corel software. Think of it as if you bought a package from a Brick and Mortar store that came with a CD/DVD to install the software. That installer disc will have a particular face using company logo and vendor artwork. Now if I had a disc I could scan the disc, pop a JPEG into SureThing and print on a printable disc. I don't have a factory provided installer disc. I downloaded both the 32bit and 64bit versions of self extracting installers (SFX) and have folders of ~4GB. I want to burn a DVD to backup with installation trees for the two versions. I'd like to use a "corporate" face if possible. If not I can be quite creative and create my own artwork.

I am just looking if someone already has an image of the vendor installer disc. Corel TechSupport indicated they don't. Thus I am seeking peers if they might.

or search the web for something

Thanx !

Unless another responder has something, I'll do my own artwork based upon the top most of the two provided graphics.

Think of this venture as... Nothing ventured, nothing gained. So it is wort the time to see if someone has something "already out there".

PS: The forum moderator approval., Is that a short term for newbies or is it for all posts all members ?

Yes the post approval is only for the first two posts - your good to go now - but we do read nearly all posts.

Too large to upload, I guess.

Here's the JPEG of what I made. Free for anyone to use.
