VS Pro X5 Video Clip Mute After Editing Audio Track

I just edited the audio track of a video clip in VS Pro X5...

I split the audio track off the video clip prior to editing; applied certain Audio Filters to the audio clip; tested the satisfactory results; saved the project and closed the program...

When I opened that project a little later, during playback, that particular clip was muted, and I had to select the separated audio track to hear the audio for that video clip at all...

Is there any procedure for rejoining the edited audio track to its video track?

Well that's the way it works - if you split the audio it is now in the audio track and the audio in the video is muted - since you have edited the audio the only way to join it back together is to render the video and audio back together in a new clip.

if you had not edited the audio you could simple un-mute the videos audio then delete the split audio - but you loose any changes to the audio.

It will all be back together again when you render your final project any way so it is not a problem
