Scrolling large text blocks in VideoStudio pro X7

Post by jamota »

Hello, I wonder if it is possible in Videostudio Pro X7 to vertically scroll large text blocks.
I insert the text blocks as clips between the other video clips on the timeline.
What I want is when the cursor reaches the text block, the text block fades in and the text remains visible and stable for some seconds, after a while the text block starts to scrolls up slowly.
When the last line of the text block becomes visible, the scrolling must stop and the text remains visible and stable again on the screen for another few seconds and finaly fades out.
With the build-in title preset for scrolling in VideoStudio, the text is not visible at the start (black screen) and appears line by line untill it disappears after the last line of text is passed and becomes a black screen again. I want to have from the start text to fill the screen completely (or half or something in between) and remain visible for a while. When the scrolling starts, it must stop as soon as the last line of text has appeared so that the text on the screen still remains readible for a while.
This can easily be done with Sony Movie Studio or Premiere elements by keyframing, but I could not figure out how to do this with Videostudio Pro X7.
Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance

Maybe you need to examine the customisable text controls rather than the pre-applied ones

I would also be looking at the "Customise Motion" option found after right clicking on a new text block in the timeline
