Videostudio X7 crashes adding transitions

Hello, I've bought Videostudio X7 Update version. It crashes everytime I add a transition (with videos or pictures).
Can someone help me?

Can you tell us what file types you are using?
Does it happen with every and / or any transition?
If you load two VS supplied videos does it crash when adding a transition?

It crashes with any transition using the samples videos provided with VS.
I've unistalled the previous X6 version and all the video codec... but I get the same crash (sorry it's in italian)
