automation of worflow tasks in aftershot pro

Post by yoshiserry »

Hi All,

Loving aftershot pro so far cant wait to try version two.

When I think of using aftershot pro, any photography software or even just the process of dealing with photos I think the following:

1) download photos from camera

2) view these in a file manager or editor (remove any really bad ones such as black ones

3) go through and rate them

4) review the photos you rated and decide to delete the rest (now you're left with a set of good photos to edit

5) begin editing (apply some changes such as exposure to all photos by copy and paste)

6) finish editing either in your program or in and external editor such as gimp

7) output your images

8) upload the images somewhere (hdd, online file storage, website, social media or photography site)

Does AP2 have the ability to automate (by writing or recording a script) doing certain actions to photos such as tagging, rating, applying edits, outputing, uploading etc?

I.e. If I did minimal editing is it possible to write / record a script for AftershotPro2 to 1) import 2) tag 3) sharpen 4) output and or in one step upload to facebook or another place? saving me doing all these steps manually?

Nothing changed with regards to your questions in AS2.
If you know how to use batch queues, presets, copy sets and keyboard shortcuts in AS, you can expedite it quite a bit.

cheers
