HOW TO enable hardware encoder acceleration

I have the VS ULTIMATE X6 installed .
Open the VS ULTIMATE X6 preferences, I found under performance sheet ->the File Creation, the checkbox "Enable Hardware Encoder acceleration" is disabled . who could guide me how to enable the checkbox ??

I've discovered the options for hardware acceleration for encoding and decoding as well. I'm using Corel Videostudio Pro x4 and have a Sandy Bridge i5 CPU and an AMD 6870 1GB GPU.
I don't have the problem of it being greyed out as I imagine you're describing. I can check all the boxes just fine, but I see no evidence of there being any improvement from CPU usage from Task Manager to GPU usage in MSI Afterburner.

These things always should've been default settings enabled.

I use X7.I have the option to enable hardware decoder acceleration under Editing process and under File creation.Also, hardware acc optimisation is enabled under Performance Opt.If you have these options are they all enabled
