My issue with color of jpeg files

I don't know if it's some change to my settings, but my jpeg files seem to lose lots of color when inserted in timeline; it's like they lose saturation, or gamma is lost.

Project properties
MPEG Transport-Stream Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
(HDMV-NTSC), 16:9
H.264 Video
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 18000 kbps)
Audio data rate: 384 kbps
Dolby Digital Audio, 48 KHz, 2/0(L,R)

I'd be willing to bet that the ifranview colorspace isn't sRGB, and the VideoStudio colorspace is.
Solution: change ifranview to sRGB and save the file before inputting to VS.

Yes, that's correct! Color space in my Lightroom export was somehow not set to sRGB, by me of course without realizing that I had done that. ISSUE SOLVED! Thanks... Al

Here is another interesting photo showing the thumbnail in the timeline with the correct color, yet the preview window shows the wrong color.

Do you by any chance have "Apply color filter" ticked in Preferences > Edit?

Yes I do! NTSC and Best Resampling Quality. Do you think that also explains the issue I had? Changing the jpeg files to sRGB, which is what I want anyways, solved the issue... Al

Well, all I know is that I never tick that colour filter box, and have never had any problem with colours... So I was wondering what might happen with what you see when you untick it...

You may be right, but I think I have had that ticked for a long time. For sure having other than sRGB as the color space of a jpeg file is a problem... Al
