Hey all together,
after all it really seems to me as if the 64bit version on Debian 7 is not the winner...
the 32bit version runs like a charm...
I have only one more problem, maybe someone has an idea of how to fix this:
While is was testing the 64bit version at one point I hit the F11 key to go to full screen.
In full screen mode it hides the Gnome3 bar at the top and it hides the red X button in ASP2
and hides the windows name. AND THEN it deactivates the sensitive left top corner.
Now when i hit the F11 key again it shows the window name and the red X but it doesn't
show the Gnome3 bar or reactivate the top left sensitive corner.
Also restarting the software does not help, it goes straight to full screen.
After removing the 64 bit version and the .Aftershot.. folder in my home directory I
installed the 32bit version and it goes straight to full screen too!
Anyone an idea?

The UI settings are stored in ~/.config/Corel/AfterShot Pro.conf

Re: GNOME 3 no return from full screen
I had a look there and changed everything that sounded like "maximised" or "fullscreen" to false (ASP2 closed, of course) but still no useful window in Gnome.
