Have you burned the project to an iso image file and played that using the VLC player?
Running tests currently. I'm going to create several new projects and make the iso files. Again, it's not one single project, it's intermittently happening on and of across projects and months Hopefully this might narrow down the situation, or atleast eliminate a possibility.

However, I still say there's an issue with the program, not the blank or final discs. As I've pointed out, I've created a number of DVDs using Windows 7 without a single issue anywhere they are played, same media and burner so that eliminates the burner. There's the fact that I'd create several different projects at the same time, and only one or two discs in a group will randomly, will exhibit this issue. I think I mentioned for the most part, I use customized static menus, no music new background. I use only T.Y. Discs, and burn at the lowest speed - 4x

I've run the program both as Windows 7 and XP compatible. the burner is only a couple years old (I can trace the issue back a year once I started getting reports of issues from friends, so perhaps something changed in the computer??) and has the current firmware.
Tested two projects with no issues, but keeping an eye out for the problem to reoccur.
