Tools Options Palette Problem PSPX6

Post by Chief92 »

This applies to the Edit workspace. I don't know if I somehow changed something in my workspace, but now when I open an image, the top of the image is under the Tools Options Palette. In order to see the top of the image, I need to move the palette down to expose the top bar of the image and then drag the image down until the top of it is lower that the palette. The palette is floating over the image. Previously, when I opened the image, the top of the image could be seen right at the bottom of the palette. How do I dock (lock) the palette up on the top of the workspace and thus keep the top of my images from slipping up under it. Thanks in advance!

In PSP X6
Click View> Docking Options. Make sure they're all checked. Click OK.
Then click and drag the toolbar that's floating to where you want. If a blue icon shows up in various areas of the workspace you can use the one closest to where you want the toolbar and drop it onto that. If you don't see any blue icon just try to get it to the edge of the workspace where you want it.

Ahh! Thanks Dan. I had seen that little blue icon but hadn't move cursor over to it to drop on it. Just did it now while I had a pic open and the palette docked and the top of the pic popped down to just below it now..totally visible.
