Corel X7 cue marker and trimming

Post by Redstone »

Hi there,

I am using Corel X7 to edit about 5 hours of footages. I have used cue markers to mark out relevant parts throughout the footages. However, each time I trim, the footages shift forward in the timeline which renders the cue markers inaccurate.

How can I maintain the position of the cue markers in relation to the footages whilst trimming?

Thanks!

Hi Redstone,

If your videos are in the timeline, each time you trim a video, all subsequent clips will move to the left to fill the space. Move all your project to an overlay track, then when you trim a clip, all other clips will remain in their original location.
