VS X7 suddenly slow and hangs

VS X7 suddenly slow and hangs
I use videostudio for all my works and it was been working great till yesterday. It started getting slow. I mean whenever i click on a text layer and try to move something or do anything it takes about a minute then it does. its quite irritative. how to overcome this?

What changes were made to your system - manually or automatically (updates, etc)?
Have you done any system maintencae lately? How much free space on your hard drive?

I see, i have not made any changes to my system recently. Oh yes, I recently started processing raw images. My system as about 80 gb(out of 400 on F drive) and 365 gb(out of 531 on C Drive ).
