Pro VS Ultimate? I have Pro X6.

Hi,

I was thinking of upgrading from Pro X6 to X7. Is their much difference or is it really worth it to upgrade to the Ultimate rather than just the Pro?

I assume the are box 64bit fully capable?

Yes they both come in 64 bit as well as 32 bit, though you can only install one flavour and have to do a full uninstall to be able to then install the other.

As for the value of the Ultimate version, it depends on whether or not you think you are going to get much use out of the extras/plug-ins. Personally, I use several of the proDAD plug-ins quite a lot and to good effect (notably RotoPen and Vitascene, as well as occasionally Mercalli) though I have never used Boris, except to play around with. But for me, those extra plug-ins are certainly worth the extra money and cost far less than they would if you bought each one individually in their stand-alone versions.

I am assuming that it would have no conflict with X6 or X5 which I have on the system? Just curious where I would be installing the 64 bit version this time.

There is no conflict. On your 64 bit computer, X5 and X6 would be in the Program Files (x86) folder with the other 32 bit programs. But X7 64 bit would be in the Program Files folder with the 64 bit programs.
