MovieFactory won't render slow motion properly

Hi there,

I'm enjoying using the trial version of MF4, but there's one problem.

I have an .AVI file (produced by Pinnacle Studio 7 software). It contains some slow motion sequences, but these look fine when I watch the .AVI via Windows Media Player.

However, when I import the .AVI into MF4 and burn a DVD, the slowmo sequences are rendered as still images.

When I preview the movie actually within MF4, the slowmo sequences behave perfectly, but on the burned DVD they appear as stills.

What could be going on? (Thanks for your help!)

Incidentally, I right-clicked the AVI within MF4 to check what type of AVI it was and the compression is listed as 'DV Video Encoder - type 2', so I can only assume that in theory, MF4 does support this particular type of AVI.
