Would anyone like to make an attempt to find this file somewhere in the Corel website?
It SHOULD be somewhere in the updates & patches section.
ASP2_LinuxDEB64_Patch01.deb
I only get dead links and I won't rule out the possibility that there's something on my end that's preventing access.
If you find it, please post a link.
thanks,

Thanks, I never saw that file either.
Problem still remains that the Debian 64bit won't run on Debian stable due to a libc version mismatch.

If it can run on Ubuntu, I don't think it is hard to find the right libc for Debian.

Re: Any Linux 64bit ASP2 successfully run....?
I'm open to suggestions. I've found that once I start fooling around with libc versions the whole system becomes unstable. I'm thinking that the os needs to be recompiled with the later libc version and it's not something I want to deal with. It would be easier for Corel to just recompile with the stable libs since they do provide a Debian version, but why it's not compatible with the Debian stable dist is beyond me.
On the other hand, upgrading to Debian's testing distribution would solve at least this libc version problem. Not ready for that either just yet. Ubuntu probably uses libc versions above 2.15 or 2.16. Debian testing uses 2.19. The errors I got were for 2.15 and 2.16.
The errors are only for ASP2 v2.0.2.10 amd64. All of the previous versions run just fine.

Re: Any Linux 64bit ASP2 successfully run....?
I was able to get v2.0.2.10 amd64 to run by replacing the libstdc++ and libuuid libs with the 'stock' Debian Wheezy amd64 versions and it runs and appears to be stable, but I haven't used many of the functions so far but it seems to start and work. More later.
I see that v2.0.3.25 is out. Tried it. Doesn't run on Debian Wheezy as installed but still needs the earlier versions of the libs above with the same semi-successful results.
I'm still at a loss for an explanation of why Corel would advertise a Debian version and not have it run on the stable release other than it was compiled for Ubuntu (which uses the later libc version) and just called it a Debian version due to the .deb without actually compiling against the Debian stable libs. I don't have Debian testing or unstable but it appears that it should be OK with those.
