Problem registering Aftershotpro2

Hello,

has anybody succeeded in registering the new Aftershotpro2 at the Corel website? I tried with the serialnumber as registration code, but it says the format is wrong.
I haven't found any other serialnumber of the product in my emails.

I, too, had the same problem.

The number supplied via the sales receipt is an activation number, not a serial number, so it can't be used for registration. If I understand Corel's process correctly, you are supposed to be supplied a serial number via later email followup. But I never received mine, and I followed the procedure to check junk mail box, etc.

Of course you have to supply a serial number to file a support request. Go figure!

When I startet ASP2 today, a popup reminded me about registration and the link within lead me to a Corel site with a "Thank you for registering ASP2"-message and my registration code shown. Nevertheless, in my Corel account ASP2 doesn't show up, only previous registered products.

I'm having the same problem too. I received a licence number but no serial number, and now I'm stuck...
I just send an email for support, but very annoying that this happens after purchase. I hope someone will help soon...

Hello,

I had the very same problem and found a link to support for registration. After all a corel employee answered my request quickly and said, that the format of the serial number (which is the activation code) had changed and thus the registration via web form did not work. He registered the product for me.

One side effect of this whole story is now that I did not receive a "support code" that is according to corels web pages sent when registering the new product. Without this support code you cannot open a support case for the first 90 days if you have problems.

I got help also, and it seems that the installation links in the email were wrong... so I installed an older version of ASP.
I now got a new link and now it works. But very confusing, because the licence key is actually also the serial number :?

I wrote to the Corel support using the online form and they did the registering for me whithin some hours. :D
